Where I'm hoping to shed some light on some of the terms associated with Connectivity through optic fiber. Note that a lot of this is just my understanding on the topic and if you want a deeper understanding of optic fiber then you should explore further. First of all, I would like to state that it is actually supposed to be spelled fibre (spelling world wide) as appose to fiber (American spelling).
